Project Objectives
To centralize
the storage of copy and graphics for communication materials;

the global distribution of communications materials; and
To provide
a user-friendly environment for it’s personnel, vendors and
local agencies.
Communications for the Group
with the right approach
Based on a through and extensive evaluation of the requirements
and needs of this client. Pronto Solutions’ e-Business
group was able to translate business requirements for
creating an online communications channel for this department,
its customers and sales agents internationally.
Within four weeks, an Intranet was created to cater
to the creative audience for example: personnel, vendors
and local agencies of the client. The extranet has a
product specific chat area allowing users to go online
to comment and express their views on each item as well
as contribute their ideas for the development and distribution
of the marketing materials for the listed products.
The site is able to
handle all marketing communications materials for 10 business
segments (low-res PDF’s for review
and selection; high-resolution images and quark files for
production);
Accessibility to 300-400
users requiring the same information;
A “Shopping Cart”
feature for users to gather the files that they require;
Site administrators
to track users and generate periodic reports like: who was
on-line, how long did they spend and what they did.

A Secure B2B portal
developed using Microsoft’s VB 6.0, ASP, VB Script, Java Script
on IIS 5.0 using MS SQLServer 7.0 as the database;
Easily scalable solution
to replicate the intranet company wide;
